Dealing with personal data
Personal data is information that can be used to find out your identity. This includes your name, address, postal address, and telephone number. Information that is not associated with your identity (such as the number of users of a website) is not included. Basically you can use our online services without disclosing your identity.

When you request information or make inquiries, we ask you for your name and other personal information. You are free to choose whether or not to provide this information. We store your data on specially protected servers. Access to it is only possible for a few authorized persons. They are responsible for the technical, commercial, or editorial support of the contents and servers.

If usage or traffic data is required for our services, it will be stored for a maximum of six months after collecting the data. If data is required to comply with existing legal, statutory, or contractual retention periods (e.g. invoices), this data will also be stored beyond this period. However, this data is blocked and only accessible to a few authorized persons via passwords.

With your personal data – e.g. for sending information material – you give us your consent that it may be processed and stored by us for a specific purpose: for example for sending information and requested newsletters or for processing a registration. This data is used internally by us and is never passed on to third parties without your expressed consent. As far as we are obliged by law or court order to do so, we will pass on your data to the authorities entitled to receive such information.

What Happens With Your Data?
Your personal data will only be registered for internal use. In no case will your data be passed on outside of our organization. At any time you have the possibility to completely end the processing of your personal data and to effect deletion. Email is sufficient. Of course you can request information at any time anew. We hereby follow the data protection regulations according to TDG.

Use of cookies
Internet cookies are small packets of data that are stored by your browser on your computer’s hard drive. We try to avoid the use of cookies on our website. However, some cookies may be technically necessary for you to be able to move freely around the website and use its features, including access to secure areas of the website.

Most browsers are set to automatically accept cookies. However, you can deactivate the storage of cookies or set your browser to notify you as soon as cookies are sent.

Protection of Minors
Children and persons under the age of 18 should not transmit any personal data to us without the consent of their parents or legal guardians.

External Links
Despite careful research we cannot guarantee the contents of external webpages we directly or indirectly link to. We hereby dissociate explicitly from all contents of all linked webpages on our webpage and do not approve any of their contents. This statement applies to all links on our webpage.

Google Analytics
This website uses Google Analytics, a web analytics service provided by Google Inc. (“Google”). Google Analytics uses “cookies”, which are text files placed on your computer, to help the website analyze how users use the site. The information generated by the cookie about your use of the website (including your IP address) will then be transmitted to and stored by Google on servers in the United States. Google will use this information for the purpose of evaluating your use of the website, compiling reports on website activity for website operators and providing other services relating to website activity. Google may also transfer this information to third parties where required to do so by law, or where such third parties process the information on Google’s behalf. You may refuse the use of cookies by selecting the appropriate settings on your browser, however please note that if you do this you may not be able to use the full functionality of this website.

Hints for Facebook Plugins
We use plugins of the online network portal “Facebook” in our Internet presence. This network is operated by Facebook Inc.; 1601 S. California Avenue, Palo Alto, CA 94304, USA. The plugins are a button called “I like” and the logo of Facebook Inc. – a white “f” on a blue background. Such plugins can also be recognized by the reference note “Social plugin from Facebook”, which can be found on the website.

When you visit our website, your browser establishes a direct connection to the servers of Facebook Inc., whereby the concrete content of the plugin is made available by Facebook on their servers and finally directly integrated into our website via your browser.

If you are a Facebook member and logged into Facebook during your visit to our site, that visit can already be associated with your Facebook user account. If you use the “like me” button, this information is also transmitted directly to Facebook and stored there. You can avoid assigning your visit to our website to your Facebook account if you have previously logged out of Facebook. Even if you are not a Facebook member, your IP address may be transmitted and stored to Facebook Inc. when you visit our website.

For more information about the scope and purpose of Facebook’s collection and use of personal information, as well as information about setting options and Facebook user accounts for privacy protection, please visit: http://www.facebook.com/policy.php.
